I love my church so much. It is the only place that will overflow my Jesus cup. (if you know what I mean) I am not satisfied with just any worship and preaching, you really gota know your stuff. Well this past weekend my school had its fall break so I was able to go home on Thursday to go to the Turn. The service was AMAZING. So I thought I would share:
The Holy Spirit's Anointing

Isaiah 45:1-3 (NLT): "This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed in fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again. This is what the Lord says: "I will go before you, Cyrus, and lever the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness- secret riches. I will do this so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name."
This was written 500 B.C. Way before Cyrus was born. God was stating a fact He already knew.
When the anointing of God comes, the impossible is possible
Isaiah 43: Calls us out of the Darkness
Isaiah 44: Tells us about the Chosen
Isaiah 45: Tells us about the Anointed
He saves the best for last.
Malachi 3
You are not a scrub. You are not below anyone. God called you. He chose you when He created the earth.
There is a reason there has been 50 million aborted in this generation. The devil is scared of this generation!
God wants to use you to destroy the works of the devil.
If Jesus needed anointing how much more do we need it?
Philippians 2
The same anointing Jesus had WE have because he tore the vale, the thing that stood in our way.
1 John 2:20 (NKJV): "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things."
1) The Anointing is for a purpose.
When you step out for God the Anointing hits you!
Exodus 30:26-30 (NLT): "Use this sacred oil to anoint the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, the table and all its utensils, the lamp-stand and all its accessories, the incense altar, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the wash basin with its stand. Consecrate them to make them absolutely holy. After this, whatever touches them will also become holy. Anoint Aaron and his sons also, consecrating them to serve me as priests."
Table = Preaching
Lamp-stand = prayer
Everyone is anointed to serve. In the Old Testament anointing is only meant for presets and kings.
He anointed us to be presets then be an king in heaven. The Anointing takes the ordinary to extraordinary.
2) The Anointing brings supernatural empowerment.
It makes you do what no one else can do. We should be operating in a way that people in the Bible could only dream of because the vale is torn.
Acts 13:11
Because of it we do not fear the devil, he fears us!
3) The Anointing paralyzes the enemy!
Daniel 5
Instead of you having the spirit of fear the enemy has the spirit of fear. When you get out of bed the enemy should trimble.
4) The Anointing releases treasures.
God will provide for your vision, if not He did not give you the vision.
Treasures:
Wisdom
Revelation (1 John 2:20)
When you read the Bible anointed you will get Revelation.
The anointing will help you battle battles, the only way you can lose is if you are not anointed.
Expect great things and you will get it.

The closer it comes to the coming of Jesus the more powerful the anointing.
Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV): "The Spirit of the Lord it upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
1) The anointing is given to preach the gospel to the poor.
2) The anointing is given to heal and restore people.
3) The anointing is given to proclaim freedom to the captives.
4) The anointing is given to open blind eyes.
5) The anointing is given to set people free.
6) The anointing flows in God's timing and proclaims God's timing.
Fist you must fear God. Fear in this text means respect or obedience. God is not just a cop waiting to bust you.
Psalm 84:4
We are the generation who with bring up THE generation, we can not go by tradition if we are suppose to raise up this generation.
Isaiah 43/ Philippians 2:3-5
The victory is already won we are walking on a paved road. I know I am filled to be emptied out again and the seed that is sown will be reaped.
You can not do anything that will make God love you more, and you can not do anything that will make Him love you less.
Just to clarify some things about speaking in tongs:
there are several ways speaking in tongs in used:
Private prayer (does not need translator)
Worshiping (does not need translator)
Speaking to the people of the congregation (God will reveal what the meaning of what was just said to someone and they will tell everyone what it means)
Speaking in an other language (you do not know the language but the people of the language you are speaking will know what you are saying)
and in 1 Corinthians 13 it brings up Blasphemy (fake)
In the same scripture it tells how women should not speak in the church, this was when the men would sit in the front of the church and the women in the back, so if the women had to ask something she would have to yell up to her husband disrupting the service. Thus women were not aloud to speak.
Also in Acts 2 it tells about how speaking in tongs is proof that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father!
